Newport Platinium Blue

Flavor Profile: The flavor of these particular cigarettes is one that is not very apparent. Although they do have a very faint flavor of menthol it is mainly a taste of typical tobacco. These cigarettes have a very faint menthol taste (less than those of the regular) and very slightly more apparent taste of tobacco, though they don't have any chemical taste and do seem to be fairly decent for their price. The last few puffs near the end doesn't have a bad burn or harshness compared to that of other cigarettes I have tried.

Box Description: The package of the Newport Platinum Blue's is a full blue box with the Newport logo and the word "Platinum" in a silver color on the top of the box with the word "Platinum" below of the lip of the box. the box has a slanted triangle box on the right side of the front of the box with a lighter blue border present separating the box front from the slanted triangle. This triangle is stylized with different shades of silver and blue lines for definition. The box itself houses a typical 21 cigarettes per box and can be bought in either kings or 100's.

Cost: These cigarettes typically will run you less than cigarettes like that of American Spirits and slightly less than that of the likes of Marlboro or some other Newport's but are not the cheapest option although they are decent for their price.

Overview: The flavor of menthol is very faint with a non-chemical but only typical tobacco taste. The package design is nice and relaxing although very simplistic. For what they cost being a mid-to-economy cost cigarette makes them a not ideal but okay option for those looking to spend a little less for a basic tasting, faint menthol and low roughness cigarette.
